The mission of St. Ignatius School is to educate the whole person by promoting spiritual, moral, physical, and intellectual development. In cooperation with parents, the school challenges the unique abilities of each student in such a manner as to enhance the self-worth and to attain overall excellence.
We passionately believe the entire community benefits from the wide diversity of gifts with which our students are blessed. Based on scores from the Terra Nova and InView standardized tests, students at all grades, in all subjects, and subtests, score at or above predicted levels. Additionally, student's average scores increase the longer the student attends St. Ignatius. By the 6th grade, the average scores place St. Ignatius in the top 10% of the Nation. At the same time, approximately 70 of our students are identified as handicapped and formal accommodations are made to match the individual learning needs of over 160 students. Whenever possible we follow an "inclusion" approach of instruction. St. Ignatius was the recipient of the 2001 Greater Cincinnati Inclusion Network Leadership Award. We continue to grow as a community in our ability to meet the needs of all learners.
